About Me
It's great to meet you! I'm Olivia Caridi, I'm 28 years old and live in New York City where I'm a full-time graduate student at New York University. I'm studying in the MS Integrated Marketing program, concentrating on digital marketing.

Yes, I am going to graduate school a bit later in life, but I have no regrets because I've experienced lots since graduating from TCU in 2014. In my first job out of college, I worked as a general assignment reporter and weekend news anchor at WCYB-TV in Bristol, Virginia. The station, which serves the Tri-Cities region, was the top-rated news source for both the NBC and FOX affiliates.

After nearly 18 months on the job, I was offered the very unique opportunity to be a contestant on Season 20 of ABC’s show, “The Bachelor.” I had hopes of finding love, but unfortunately, by the end, only found myself in the unfortunate "villain" position, receiving hate from millions of Americans and struggling with mental health.
​
I made peace with my journey when I started my podcast called "Mouthing Off," which is signed to the Cadence13 podcast network. On episodes, which air on Tuesdays, contestants from a variety of reality television shows dish behind-the-scenes information, speak freely about how filming really went down, and a look into the mental health struggles that contestants from all shows face.
I really found a passion for marketing when I launched the podcast, as I built it from the ground up and handled all campaign execution, content creation, social media, even website building, and market analytics. Now, I've decided to go back to school to officially immerse myself in the marketing industry, because it's never too late to find the dream career path and job - and I'm a lifetime learner.

I know you're thinking, where does travel come in?! Well, over the years, I've found that a huge part of my mental health improvement can be attributed to my travel experiences. Disclaimer: I'm a former Delta Air Lines employee and the travel benefits are a huge reason I've been able to travel where I have. Any time I've been able to hop on a plane to anywhere, I've never passed up the chance, and as my home page says, I truly believe who we are is where we have been.
